This is a first for me. I’ve never written a blog this personal and I’ve certainly never written 100 posts on a blog before. My previous attempts at blogging, without knowing I was Autistic or perhaps suspecting but not really having that acceptance or understanding yet, all fell apart very quickly.

It’s impossible to write about one’s life when one’s life makes no sense.

Now it makes sense. Now I have understanding. Now there’s a community of people who actually seem to relate to many of the things I write.

It’s new and it’s weird.

Anyhow, over the last almost-year since I started this blog, I’ve met incredible people online! I’ve gained more understanding of myself than I previously thought possible. I have a close-knit group of friends who share my neurology and are in my local community.

Thank you so much, those of you who have been reading here! You all are amazing people and I enjoy your comments very much ❤ Even during the times (like now) when I fall behind on reading/responding to your comments, I appreciate that you took the time to read and write back to me 🙂 And I’ll get to your comments eventually!

Words have been low for me again this week. A misunderstanding early in the week set me back quite a bit. It’s been busy, a mostly good week.

In this post I had wanted to reflect more upon the last year-ish and give a bit more detail about what may be coming in the next 100 posts, but I’m finding it difficult to do those things now so I’ll just leave you all with a very sincere thank you.

Many of my readers are in my twitter community and have, therefore, been part of my writing process. Often discussions we have there end up coming up over here too. I couldn’t write this blog if it wasn’t for the discussions I’ve had with other Autistic folks online and in real life. The patterns in our lives lend themselves so well to being written about and are extremely comforting to me as I’m then able to put words to experiences that I didn’t even know needed words before.

So, thank you all! Thank you more than you know!
